Potentilla anserina; like the alpine cinquefoil, the silverweed is member of the rose family, not with standing their superficial resemblance to buttercups. Silverweed grows in grasslands, along roadsides and similar habitats of the lowland regions of Iceland. It can easily be recognized by their silver green feather-shaped leaves. The top part of the leaves, however, can sometimes be glossy-green.
It is member of the rose family (Rosacea). The Icelandic name of this species is Tágamura.
