FLORA OF ICELAND elements: Epilobium palustre, Marsh Willowherb, Mýrardúnurt

Epilobium palustre; marsh willowherb is grows on wet soils throughout Iceland. Characteristic are the narrow leaves (at least 5x longer than wide). It is a member of the Willowherb family (Onagraceae). The Icelandic name of this species is Mýrardúnurt.
